Hello friends. I have taken some time off from blogging. I had been spending a lot of time looking at other people’s blogs and envying their lives through facebook so I needed a break. Here is what we have been up to for the last two weeks.

I got to see Hart, a high school friend, who I don’t get to see enough. She got to meet Vivi for the first time which was a very special time for me.

Vivi attended her first wedding on Memorial day weekend in Atlanta. It was beautiful. The bride and groom had an outside ceremony at Memorial Park. They both did a wonderful job planning and pulling off every detail.

We played a friendly card game with the housemates while drinking our PBR through sour punch straws. We also participated in an insult game called who is more hipster. We have a friend that says if you want to insult a hipster then tell them they are more hipster than you. It was all played in fun. We have really enjoyed living with Mikey and Lindsay they are so great.

Will got some good morning cuddle time with Vivi.

Vivi also turned three months this past week. She is wearing an outfit that my mom bought which is just funny.

We had the most gorgeous weather this weekend. It was in the 80s in June which is unheard of and 60s in the evening. We grilled pizzas on Friday evening but sadly I forgot to capture the goodness. On Saturday morning Will went to the community gardens to help out and I got some great smile time with little bit. The Hannon’s got back from the farmer’s market and we had a delicious breakfast.

They picked up some peaches so we could make homemade ice cream. I peeled and blended the peaches and strained the juice. We will make the ice cream this week and hopefully I will let you know how it goes. Later that afternoon Mimi called to see if we wanted to play Settlers of Catan (we are obsessed). We had plans to enjoy the day at the park so we combined them both for a fabulous afternoon.

That evening we headed to the Cobb’s house to watch Dial M for Murder an old Alford Hitchcock movie. We got a projector and watched it on a sheet in their backyard. The night was perfect tons of cloud coverage with a full moon and a light breeze. I didn’t get a good shot of the evening because my camera battery died so all you get is a blur.

We woke up and made peach and banana pancakes. The rest of the day was spent relaxing and resting.
