the past two weeks

Life has been challenging these last 26 days. Will has been on his gynecology oncology rotation. He has been getting up at 2:45 am and not getting home until 7:30 some nights. I feel like a single parent. I have a new respect for these strong and brave men and women. In this time Vivi has started waking up 2-3 times in the night. We ran through the gamete of options and have landed on the fact that she is teething and we need to go back to swaddling. Vivi and I have made several road trips over these last few weeks to help the time hasten.

Our most recent stop was to Dothan, Alabama home of the Peanut Festival. We stayed with one of my best friends Lindsay who is nearing the end of her pregnancy. She has been a bit uncomfortable so we decided to keep her company for two nights.

Herreson is practicing his big brother skills

We used our pinterest skills to make homemade ice cream sandwiches.

We stopped off in Troy to see Ghita and Grandpa for a night. Then home to see daddy. The rest of the week we relaxed at home and tried to get back on schedule.

He says she loves this book.

We played.

We teethed.

We cooked.

We played baby superman.

And played some more.

Oh yeah and took lots of pictures.

  3. I saw this post and all I could think about was the dream of sitting with you and Lindsay and talking for two days straight. I actually ached.
