We have been so busy lately which is why I haven't posted very much recently. One of our friends that we met while we lived in Lusaka came to visit. She got to meet Vivi and have a southern meal. Lil stepped into the kitchen and it was so normal. It felt like she was stopping over to have dinner with us and then we would see her again the following week. It is weird how you can be in a place with no shared memories and feel like you have been there all the time.

Lil and Viola had big fun together. |

We cooked her fried okra, cornbread, black-eyed peas, mustard greens, and mashed potatoes |

Part of the Lusaka gang. |
The rest of the week was spent mostly on the road. Vivi and I got to go to two of the three interviews that Will had last week. We visited Chattanooga and Savannah. I got to explore the cities and catch up with some old friends. We got home Friday and Will left Saturday for another interview. See I told you it was busy.
Our housemates planned a friendsgiving dinner on Sunday night. They both had been looking forward to Thanksgiving food and time with friends so they decided to start a new tradition.

We had lemon butter turkey with a chorizo sausage stuffing, bread stuffing with sausage (that's right two stuffings), cranberry lime relish, creamed baby peas with pearl onions, salad, and mashed potatoes. |

It was AMAZING! As you can imagine I went to bed full and happy. Today it has been rainy here so we stayed home and enjoyed a slow day. Vivi has an awful diaper rash so she has been airing her bits trying to get rid of that thing.
